Jeremy Sayer plays homespun, original acoustic tunes that occupy the space between past and present, country and city, heartache and hope. While always earnest and heartfelt, these simple songs are balanced by the knowledge that life, while full of trials and complications, is not meant to be taken too seriously. The events of our lives are often perceived individually while at the same time being experienced communally. These songs are intended to be approached in much the same way.
Jeremy has been honing his craft in coffeeshops, pubs, and open mics in the Berks, Lancaster, and Montgomery County areas since 2008. In the fall of 2010, Jeremy was joined by drummer Kork Moyer, bassist Tony Lancenese, and banjo, ukulele and harmonica player Andrew Schilthuis, who add body and texture to his songs as the Wounded Allies. Currently, Jeremy is booking acoustic and full-band gigs wherever they might be found.
